Diamond Peak Base Lodge Renovation Update

Incline Village, NV- The Diamond Peak Base Lodge Renovation continues on-schedule and on-budget. Phase 1 of the Diamond Peak Renovation has been on time and set for a completion of November 1, 2008.

The structural steel installation is complete and the installation of the large structural roof glue-lams (wooden structural beams) is almost complete.  Work is now focused on third floor rough framing and second floor rough framing is almost complete with drywall work underway. Al Shankle Construction has staffed up significantly for the move towards completion.

The new third floor deck coating is almost done, which will allow installation of the snow-melt system and finish pavers. Plumbing, electrical, phone and data installation, and exterior siding continue.

The total renovation set for a completion on November 1^st includes new restrooms in the Loft Bar area, a 300 sq. ft. banquet room, a new food service counter, an outside deck with a stairway that leads to the bottom of the lodge, an expanded rental shop, expanded Food & Beverage storage, raised Loft ceilings with skylights, upper deck with heated paving stones, new siding, new F&B offices, fresh paint, new carpet, new fixtures, and more!

Phase 2 of the Diamond Peak Renovation, which includes a new Child Ski Center and ticket windows, has been slated to start construction in 2010.
