Diamond Peak Marketing Department Wins AMA Award of Excellence

Incline Village, NV- The Diamond Peak marketing campaign, Your Tahoe Place for Kids, won the Award of Excellence in the Comprehensive Marketing Campaign division at the American Marketing Association ACE Award Gala on May 15, 2008.

In the 2007/2008 season, Diamond Peak launched a comprehensive campaign directed towards children and their families. The IVGID Marketing Department’s goal was to position Diamond Peak as the best place in the Lake Tahoe area for children under 12 and their families to come ski and snowboard. Diamond Peak’s well-established Child Ski Center with a twenty-year history of excellence also helped drive this campaign.

Diamond Peak positioned itself as Your Tahoe Place for Kids which resulted in increased revenue for the 2007/2008 season. When compared to the end of the 2006/07 season, total revenue for the Child Ski Center increased 24% and overall children products sold for children ages 0-12 outside of the Child Ski Center increased 59%. With great pride the Marketing Department is happy to report that its efforts have been met with great success, and is truly grateful for having its campaign acknowledged with the AMA 2008 Award of Excellence.
